Dos Margaritas
Una margarita didn’t seem like enough for National Margarita Day, so we’ve made you dos margaritas! Choose your own adventure with this double-duty recipe.
GET IT
- 2 ounces tequila
- 1/2 ounce Grand Marnier
- 1 1/2 ounces fresh-squeezed lime juice (about 2 limes)
- Coarse salt
- Lemon or lime wheel for garnish
- For Basil-Lemon Margarita: 1 1/2 ounces basil-lemon syrup, sprig of basil
- For Ginger-Lime Margarita: 1 1/2 ounces ginger-lime syrup, slice of fresh ginger
MAKE IT
Add tequila, Grand Marnier, lime juice, syrup of choice, and ginger slice or basil sprig (as applicable) to cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds, until foamy on top. Run the lime wheel around the edge of a rocks glass and invert over salt to coat rim. Add ice and and strain liquids into glass. Garnish with lemon or lime wheel.
