Legend has it that the Cuba Libre–a cocktail of light rum, Coca-Cola, and lime–was born during the Spanish-American War. Chile infusion lends a little extra machismo to this battlefield favorite.
- 1 to 1 1/2 ounces chile rum, depending on your heat tolerance
- Cola of choice
- Lime wedge for garnish
Pour rum over ice in a lowball glass. Top with cola and garnish with lime wedge. Make spice, not war!
